Curious about what’s really happening inside your body?
HerHealth Course
A 6-week live, online program that uses real medical imaging to explain your female anatomy, cycles, and common health conditions — in plain language, with zero shame.
Most of us were never taught what our anatomy actually looks like — or how it works.
We grow up with myths, half-truths, and unanswered questions about our cycles, symptoms, and changes over time.
That confusion can lead to anxiety, missed diagnoses, and feeling disconnected from our own bodies.
THE HERHEALTH COURSE IS HERE TO CHANGE THAT.
- Understand Your Body with Clarity: See your anatomy, cycles, and hormones in a way that finally makes sense — with real ultrasound images and plain language explanations.
- Speak About Your Health with Confidence: Learn the right terms and concepts so you can describe symptoms clearly, ask better questions, and get more from healthcare appointments.
- Make Informed Health Decisions: Know what’s normal for you, spot changes early, and understand the pros and cons of different options like contraception, scans, and treatments.

- Understand your body from the inside out
See how your anatomy, cycles, and hormones work — and how they change over time — with real medical imaging explained in plain language. - Confidently talk about your health
Know the right terms, what’s normal for you, and how to describe symptoms so you can get the care and answers you need. - Make informed decisions
From contraception to cycle tracking, understand your options and how they work so you can choose what’s right for you.

Introduction to the Female Body
Week One sets the foundation for the whole course. You’ll discover what your body actually looks like on the inside — what’s where, how it all fits together, and how medical imaging (especially ultrasound) shows us the body in real life. It’s about replacing guesswork with clear, visual knowledge.
We’ll explore internal anatomy from top to bottom, challenge common myths, and use real ultrasound clips to show you exactly what’s happening inside. By the end, you’ll have a clear mental map of your own body — and the confidence to talk about it in real terms.
- Identify basic internal female anatomy — see the location and orientation of major organs like the uterus, bladder, liver, kidneys, and more.
- Understand how imaging makes the invisible visible — learn the basics of ultrasound and why it’s safe and commonly used.
- Bust common anatomy myths — from the “small bladder” misconception to where your liver actually sits.
The Bladder, Kidneys & Uterus
In Week Two, we zoom in on three key organs that work closely together — and have a big impact on your daily life. You’ll see how your bladder fills and empties, how your kidneys filter your blood, and how your uterus changes shape and position.
Through real ultrasound examples and clear explanations, you’ll understand the relationship between these organs and how symptoms like frequent urination, pelvic pain, or cycle changes often tie back to anatomy.
- Learn how urine is produced, stored, and released — from kidney filtration to bladder expansion.
- Understand the uterus in detail — including its layers, positions, and how it changes with your cycle or bladder fullness.
- See how these organs interact — and why certain conditions or life stages (like pregnancy) can cause big changes in comfort and function.

Menstrual Cycle, Ovulation & Menopause
Week Three unpacks your hormonal rhythms from first period to menopause — and shows what’s really happening inside at every stage. You’ll see how the uterus and ovaries change throughout the month, what ovulation actually looks like, and how these patterns shift in perimenopause and menopause.
We’ll use real ultrasound imaging and clear analogies to make sense of cycle phases, symptoms, and hormonal changes — replacing myths with facts you can trust.
- Understand the four phases of the menstrual cycle — and what’s happening in your hormones, uterus, and ovaries during each.
- Learn what ovulation really is — and why it matters for more than just fertility.
- See how menopause unfolds — and understand the physical changes that happen as hormone levels shift.
Pregnancy & Contraception Explained
In Week Four, we cover two big topics often surrounded by confusion — how conception happens and how different contraceptives work. You’ll see what’s going on in the earliest stages of pregnancy, how we detect it on ultrasound, and how each contraceptive method works with (or against) your body’s natural processes.
By the end, you’ll understand the timing, changes, and options available — so you can make informed, confident choices about your reproductive health.
- See the journey from ovulation to implantation — and how early pregnancy appears on ultrasound.
- Understand the science behind contraception — from hormonal methods to IUDs, condoms, and emergency contraception.
- Learn when and how Plan B works — and why timing is everything.

Understanding Endometriosis, Adenomyosis & PCOS
Week Five dives into three of the most common — and often misunderstood — reproductive conditions. You’ll learn what each one is, how they differ, the symptoms to watch for, and what they can look like on ultrasound.
We’ll also talk about why diagnosis can take years, how to communicate with healthcare providers, and why knowing your normal matters. The focus is on empowerment, not overwhelm.
- Understand what endometriosis, adenomyosis, and PCOS really are — and how they can affect your body.
- Recognise symptoms and patterns — so you know when to seek help and what to ask your doctor.
- Learn the role of imaging — and when conditions can (and can’t) be seen on ultrasound.
Breast Health & Imaging
In Week Six, we focus on breast health at every age. You’ll learn how breast tissue changes over time, the differences between common benign conditions and signs that need further investigation, and the role of imaging in screening and diagnosis.
We’ll break down mammograms, ultrasounds, and other imaging tools so you know what to expect — and feel more confident about monitoring your own breast health.
- Understand basic breast anatomy — and how it changes with your cycle, age, and life stage.
- Learn to recognise what’s normal for you — and the signs that need medical attention.
- See how imaging works — and when mammograms, ultrasounds, or other scans are most useful.

Hi there, I'm Katrina!
I’m a medical ultrasound specialist (sonographer), health educator, and founder of the HerHealth course. For over 15 years, I’ve been helping women understand what’s really going on inside their bodies and I’ve seen first-hand how much misinformation and missing knowledge there is about female health.
I believe every woman deserves clear, visual, no-jargon education about her body.
That’s why I created HerHealth and this free workshop — to explain your anatomy, hormones, and cycles in a way that’s easy to understand, using real medical images and practical examples. Whether you’re here for yourself, your daughter, or simply to fill in the gaps school never covered, you’ll leave feeling more confident, informed, and empowered to take charge of your health.

Alongside each week’s class, you’ll get access to a growing library of resources — anatomy diagrams, cycle trackers, symptom logs, comparison charts, worksheets, and reflection prompts. These tools turn knowledge into practical skills you can use in your own life.
The moment you enrol, you’ll join our private online community — a safe, supportive space to connect, ask questions, and share experiences with others on the same journey. You’ll also find extra resources and discussions to keep you motivated between classes.
